Job description – Part-time Healthcare Professional Recruitment (Fieldwork) Assistant 

 

Location: Unit F, South Cambridge Business Park, Babraham Road, Sawston, Cambridge

 

Healthcare Fieldwork recruit healthcare professionals and patients to take part in medical market research and the highly regulated human factors environment. Our clients range from some of the largest global pharmaceutical and surgical companies to small medical consultancies. Every project is different and we work across a broad range of therapy areas, therefore this role involves recruiting a vast array of experts at all levels  www.healthcarefieldwork.com

 

Basic requirements

  • Science degree or equivalent essential

  • Medical or pharmaceutical background beneficial

 

Main responsibilities

 

  • Set up of project documentation at the start of a new study

  • Full understanding of the client’s requirements, and on occasion development of an associated screener

  • Recruitment of appropriate healthcare professionals (HCPs)

  • Use of Healthcare Fieldwork’s database to find HCPs

  • Detailed online research to source new contacts and HCPs

  • Build positive and effective partnerships with Scouts to source new HCPs

  • Recruitment of patients when required

  • Thoroughly screen HCPs to ensure they meet the necessary criteria

  • Schedule HCPs to meet client requirements; this could be a surgical simulation run over a few days or a short interview in Central London

  • Arrange viewing facility bookings, either at our in-house facility or in cities across the UK

  • As needed, manage our in-house viewing facility; set up, welcome clients/ participants, organise refreshments and control the audio-visual equipment  

  • Work collaboratively and communicate regularly with the whole team 

  • Grow and expand Healthcare Fieldwork’s database

  • Work in accordance with company policies and guidelines, including compliance with the Data Protection Act
